@FlameBoyBen @zerooo0 I'd agree with about 20 years. Criminals are criminals. I doubt there are any extenuating circumstances as would occur in other cases. They were not forced to do this through poverty, addiction etc. It seems like it was just pure malice. 20 years at least seems fair.
Is there a Sim City alternative out there? Like a completely different company with nothing to do with EA or Maxis? That's what is required I feel. I may be unaware, but it feels like EA and Maxis have the market cornered on city simulations. Surely another game company would be eyeing the market share after this debacle.
While I think the whole issue is much ado about nothing. I do think bros before FOES is a better title for the trophy. While it doesn't outrightly say hoes, it does insinuate it which I think is far more witty.
@zackcurl We must ban Tomb Raider then. There's that female protagonist going around killing males. As you say, that violence directed at a specific gender. Also gotta ban most first person shooters as violence is being directed at a specific ethnic group. I'm agreeing with you... Am I doing it right?
I'm all for separating review scores from online server trouble. In fact in most instances I think the server problems should not have a bearing on the review of the game itself.
However, when a company makes it MANDATORY that you must be logged into their server to even play the game yourself, it is they who have ensured that the server trouble is addressed when reviewing a game. Not our fault. You want "always online", then you live with the consequences. Excellent review and a 5.0 is extremely appropriate.
