Hello, I have a phat 60gb ps3.

Yesterday my brother was playing fifa 11, whilst playing the game he ejected the disc from the console without exiting the game. about 45 minutes later whilst playing MW2 the ps3 froze. so we restarted the ps3 and it didnt start. the light came on, but no screen appeared.

i then tested the cable on the xbox and the cable worked fine. so i decided to restart the ps3 again, it loaded up untill the point the ps3 logo appeared then froze, with a weird blue/purpe fuzzy screen.

so i turned the ps3 off from the switch at the back, i turned it on by holding it from the front button thing. (basically i did that thing to reset the output to standard definition). the ps3 worked fine for bout 15 mins then froze again with the blue fuzzy screen.

so i kept trying different stuff and it still kept freezing. so i decided to do a system restore. (lost all my data :(.

) it hasnt helped and keeps freezing.

does anyone know how to help me.

i think the moral of the story is dont let your brother play on your ps3.
