Warhawk. If I plugged that game in today I wouldn't stop playing until Friday. I literally have to avoid playing it to ensure productivity in real life. I probably put 160+ hours into that game.

Just Cause 2 is hands down the game for me. No question. It's just outrageously fun.

Somehow I think Just Cause 2 needs to be in the discussion. The graphics obviously aren't quite at the level of KZ2, UC2 or GoW3, but for a game with 400 square miles of completely explorable terrain, it's pretty damn amazing.

As someone else said, RUSE looks like it could be pretty solid... but overall I whole heartedly believe that RTS' have absolutely no place on anything but the PC. The mouse interface is just too important to how the genre functions. Any transfer to a console inherently dumbs down/bastardizes the game... It just cannot be as intricate on a console as it can be on a PC.

I just picked up Just Cause 2 and it is a BLAST to play... just outrageously fun. BUT... I'd still get RDR instead. I simply cannot wait for that game.

Personally I would never use the feature.. but I hate it when companies take away features or functionality without any real reason backing them up. "Security concerns" almost certainly stem from that guy's hack of the PS3's OS. I suppose you could look at it as the guy ruining it for the rest of us, but still... seems pretty lame. And again, while I would never use the feature, I hate that it's being taken away.

Wow 20GB would be brutal. WAY too small.

Seriously. I'm seriously considering selling my 60 gig to buy a slim... or at the very least replace the hd with a much larger one, although I'm not sure if I wanna go that route. 20 gigs are just not a great idea with all the great games available now.

I only read TC's post, so I'm not sure what else has been said in the thread, but you can't really judge a game like Braid against a game like Uncharted 2. Sure, Braid might have scored higher than UC2, but they're not even close to being similar. Different genres, different target audiences, different everything. They only thing that connects them is that they're both video games, a connection that's pretty tenuous.

Did I just see someone write down "X-Blades" as something other than a joke?

I've been finding myself more and more like that over the last few years. I'm pretty busy, and when I'm not there are just other things I feel I should be or could be doing with my time, so when I pick up the controller to play I almost feel guilty. And since I haven't kicked my compulsory habit of buying games when they're on sale, I have this huge stack of games I haven't or barely have played... Madden 10, Saboteur, GoW3, ACII, Force Unleashed, MGS4, Marvel UA2, Batman AA, inFamous, Resistance 2, Saints Row 2, Mercs 2 and several others... Really the only games I've played voraciously over the last few years have been Uncharted 2 and The Show 09. I still love games, though ;)
