My wife bought it last black friday, despite calling me and asking if i wanted it and me telling her no :| Its bloody useless, although its a bit a novelty controller for netflix, but thats about it. I have a strong suspicion that most people on this forum bought one, as it is the focus of ms right now. People need to speak with their wallets. There's no way that it sold as well as it did based on it being shown in fashion stores, etc. contrast that to Playstation Move. That thing isn't seeing the same support and focus because a large amount of people just said, "no thanks".
Well to be fair, the two came into the market with 2 different ideas. Sony's was trying to relive the Wii controls and Microsoft was spouting the Kinect has a new way to play, which is sorta is by being controller-less. I think Microsoft was riding off the same success the Wii was, a brand new way to play games. Sony's move wasn't new and the Wii craze was on its way out so that is why it didn't stand up to the Kinect. That and Microsoft's bloated budget for Kinect advertising simply overshadowed Sony's move.
A little high on the price. Didn't Reggie say people would be pleasantly surprised by the price or something along those lines? I was expecting $250 for a base model and $300 if they had a premium model as well.Zero5000X

Yeah, kind of bullsh*t that Microsoft removed their HDMI cords and Component cables from their SKUs in late 2009. And Sony never offering HD Cables... this whole current generation between the HD Twins based on "HD" and the consoles right now can't even play in HD out of the box. LOL!
Well they knew that everyone purchase a xbox 360 from that point on was just rebuying it because their old one broke so they don't need the cables again! ZING!
So does anyone know if NintendoLand is gonna be a pack-in game or not? If it isn't thats pretty disappointing cause I'd like to mess around with it a bit and have some fun like I did with Wii Sports but I just can't see myself going out buying it seperately. That extra money would go towards a better game me thinks.

If I remember correctly, Japan did not get Wii sports with the Wii system. If I am mistaken, someone please correct me.
