I have a 30 inch monitor and I played the entire game at 2560x1600 and I only have a Pentium D 3.6, 2GB and a 8800GTX. Pretty smooth throughout, and yes, at the resolution, some of the textures just don't hold up, but I would never go back to anything smaller then a 24 ", just isn't as engrossing visually.
