He actually subsidized my investment without my knowledge, of which he told me later. But considering how it’s increased, I’m not complaining. This is my father, so I think he’s trying to help me start building something. I know considering the % of his subsidizing, he is due more than the initial principle.

I basically wrote off my money, which I tend to do whenever I lend/invest it. I always do so under the belief I’ll never see it again, and generally don’t think about it aside cursory glances here and there.

Leaves me never disappointed but sometimes pleasantly surprised.
