Si if I was to upgrade mobo's, which of those is the best choice? and what makes the price differences?

Hey everyone, so I think its about time I upgraded my cpu and mobo to get some PCI 3.0 slots, I have a 580 and I think i'm going to wait for the 7xx series before I upgrade as i'm happy with the 580's performance right now.

Should I bother with the ivy bridge? Also what RAM do you recommend? (As my old RAM is not going to fit)

If she doesn't mind waiting a bit then I'd recommend Far Cry 3.

I disagree unfortunately, ive played it quite a few times for a few weeks each. You come to the realization that your only playing to raid bigger and bigger targets, the only reason for building anything is attack and defence or better means to build attack and defense.

Borderlands 2 is in no way related to 1, it's an entirely different game, down to the core.

I got it last night on a whim, checked it out today, didn't really want to play, got into CO-OP from the start, played around 2 hours, it's great, since I pretty much hated the first I'll tell you what it's not, compared to Borderlands 1:

- it doesn't suck bad at being on a PC AKA it doesn't play like a console game
- this one is related to the first one, cars are actually decent now, they were absolutely terrible in 1
- shooting isn't as boring
- quests aren't as boring and repetitive (tho, you shouldn't expect it to be entirely unique, no game with lots of missions ever was fresh from start to finish, 1 however was an abomination)
- it doesn't have lame jokes (2 is actually funny)
- soundtrack doesn't suck (it's excellent and it makes every encounter exciting)
- story doesn't suck (doesn't really shine either, but it's good so far)
- it doesn't have only a few gun models being spammed allover the world (in 1 you found most of the models in the entire game in the first 1 hour, there were only a few others unique and harder to get, 2 however already has way more models than 1 and from what I saw in other videos + the unique weapons, this is barely the start of it)
- world isn't bland, monotonous
- voice acting doesn't suck

In short, do not play Borderlands 1 unless you want to get depressed before playing a completely different game that quality wise is in no way related to 1.

Borderlands 1 sucks, 2 is an excellent game. 1 "please man, please play this game some more, I tell you, it doesn't suck as much as it appears to right now, please!", 2 "so you think you're the man with what you saw and what you have right now? ha, you don't know anything, sick em bandits/etc run for your lives, struggel, discover" (that's the feelings I got from playing these two)

Ive been playing this and I think the idea behind it is absolutely great. Its pretty much my dream MMO. In your guys opinion why is it so unpopular? I admit, im REALLY turned off by the candyland graphics style but I think its otherwise a great game.

Total War games have sucked collectively hundreds of hours from me. Id recommend it as your "one more turn" especially Medieval 2.

Strongly recommend EVE, its not for the feint of heart however.

Im wondering if I should buy it for PC or just rent it on my PS3?

As for Cryostasis, I thought it was excellent. Be warned that it is probably the most poorly optimized game to date.
