Nobody cares about the shit-box so deal with it. Most of the closed nature in PC gaming is from Steam's DRM. Sounds to me like you are the one who is whining not the people making good points about the shit-box.

So Valve buy gamespot a ticket to CES, sets them up in a nice hotel probably sets them up with a little spending money, so to thank them gamespot only gives favorable coverage to the Steam Box and makes a video making fun of people for legitimate criticism of it an attempt to discredit them. Most of the comments aren't stupid they are legitimate criticism. Is Valve paying Gamespot to push the Steam Box? And price has been revealed and yes it's way overpriced so they were spot on.
