if your a self builder just get a intel core 2 duo E6750 and a 8800gt, with these you can get exceptional fps at maximum setting. i know this because that is what im using right now. if you want a game to test out ur system thn go try max it on crysis, yeah thought so
bul crap i cant even play decent on high setting and im using 8800gts 320mb with intel c2d and 2 gig of ram, how in the hell are u guys manage to play on high with a 8600
>SrgInsane >Xbox 360 is better then PCs, so shut up noobs right..... 360 dosent have 8800gtx :D not sure about the processor, consoles can never match up to today's top end computers, if u do 3dmark05 on a 360(not sure if tats possible) you'll get around 8000 while my pc scored over 15,000+ since 360 uses ati 1800 chipsets and ps3 uses nvidia's 7800 chipset, which is so last year
ahh for all of u who have sli 8800gtx or ultra.....shut up alrdy u know tat we know tat ur over 1 grand rig can over kill the game at least 10 times. or maybe even more. but the point is. stop bragging about ur super high end rigs for the next 2 month til a new video card or new cpu comes out and all of sudden u see the stuff u bought just took a huge dive from the retail price
I have asked so many times can someone find out if the 2600xt they used is gddr3 or gddr4? is gddr4, but tat dosent matter cause it has a 128 bit interface. tats gonna bottleneck the clock speed, the bus speed and gddr4, the 2600xt is for watching high def movies and video codings. ofcause the 2600xt can run games pretty smoothly, but it isnt built for gaming
lol im running on high with my hp pavilion at 1680x1050 and im getting around 60fps btw wrangle u must be a silly 30 year old who has no life thn be here talking about us been silly consumer
