Sounds like the 3DS is right for you. You can purchase Pokemon Black or White, any Sonic games you find interesting along with the great 3D titles out and soon to come. I don't own a 3DS but am I correct that it plays NDS games? if so then yeah good choice.

yeah releasing the games on VC will be great i for one don't like remakes (unless it's done like OoT hardly any changes but the graphics) i would rather play the game as it was originally intended and that's the original version's

MajinSquall

So by your standards the remake of Resi 1 was terrible?

Wasn't a lot of the contents in MM from Oot? Lots of models in MM are already made thanks to Oot. So it would be silly not to remake it.

Right now I'm in this situation, my main gaming desktop has basically crapped out on me and now sits in a corner gutted except the borked motherboard and burned out CPU. I don't have the cash really do do a new system with my bills and everything so I just been using my laptop which is a MacBook Pro late-2008 model. Really I have no use to push pc gaming right now like Crysis and have been mainly playing older games on it. I would check into companies like Sager or PowerPro. Check this site to kind of gauge what is going on http://www.powernotebooks.com/ They offer pretty competitive pricing that isn't insane like Alienware, Falcon Northwest or Voodoo.

well the thing is, ive never been into the really hardcore pc builders club....as in, i dont have to have the $400 graphics card. i've got a $140 gfx card in my rig now that works just fine for me. i'm starting to do more gaming on my xbox and just general stuff (although a lot) on my pc. but i guess my main issue here is what my needs are? the portability is nice, but not that important....but the draw for me is whether or not the laptop is better for long term use?

bestbuy has a Asus model forgot its a gaming laptop for $899.99 with a 9800M GS 512MB dual core, 4gb RAm check it out

Considering how long it took to make Killzone 2, you might be waiting for a while.

your forgetting one thing. microsoft has money. they can afford to get a huge team of devs to work on a game and release it finished within 2-3yrs... unlike KZ2

your point ?

Alan Wake has been in development longer then killzone 2 and still look well like a firs tgen xbox360 game

alan wake is ok, but that doesnt mean microsoft paid them a crap load to finish it quickly, they obviously dont do it with all the devs.

I had a huge increase by overclocking this thing, gpu clock 660 and memory clock 1050. I cranked the fans up to 65% and the temp stayed around 60 at all times, I think I gained up to 10fps in my games! Anyone else oc their 4850? I think I could take mine further, but I just dont need to yet. Anyone try any bios modding?

TerroRizing
temps should always be considered when overclocking. as long as your gpu is 60C and under you will see the performance increase. even if you got your gpu at 760 clock with 70C you would not see a difference at all because like i said before, heat is slowing down the performance. if you could maintain that cool enough then yes.
