The price has to be right or Scorpio will stumble out of the gates. Expected a Pro price reduction (and possibly a free game) around Scorpio release too. Those Sony guys are cunning.
Great, this looks right up my alley. Now I've got another game to buy in March which is adding up to be an expensive month with Zelda, Ghost Recon, and Mass Effect.
@scoobijohn: it's not worried, that's the problem. They projected 2 million units by the end of 2016 and the actual figures are estimated about or less than 750,000 which sounds good but not for a 53 million PS4 install base. It will be artificially sold out for a while if they aren't producing that many to ship to retailers. The main concern is lack of new game development and lack of advertising except for Taco Bell. Lots of analysts are worried Sony will pull the plug by end of 2017. Just putting it out there as good for thought.
I guess Sony is focusing on "engagement" concerning their soon to be failed peripheral PSVR as they refuse to release sales numbers for that too. Don't really hear too much about what's going on with that this year outside of RE7 and Star Trek Bridge Crew. Personally, I still feel burned by the Vita but did get the Pro to go w my X1S.
I'm already saving my BestBuy reward point points towards the Scorpio. Can't wait to see more of it in June. Until then, RE7, Horizon ZD (yes, I know that's for my PS4 Pro) and Mass Effect Andromeda and my 35+ game backlog will keep me busy.
