Minecraft Dungeons is on the way to consoles and PC, albeit a bit more late than what we had hoped for. Mojang confirms that the Minecraft Dungeon-Crawler spin-off will be released on the 26th of May on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and, as was revealed in the last week's surprise Direct, Nintendo Switch.
The original plan was to release Minecraft Dungeons in April by the Microsoft-owned studio. However, it was stated that due to coronavirus-related concerns, this was not possible. We wanted to ensure the health and safety of our teams and give our players the best experience possible.

You'll be able to join up with three other players in online and local co-op modes. The missions consist of procedurally generated elements as well as fixed elements that make the game new every time you play but still keeping the narrative and goals.
Two versions of Minecraft Dungeons will be available. Alongside the standard $20 edition, there's also a $30 hero edition that comes with cosmetic items as well as access to a pair of DLC packs that are on the way.
