i actually was going to buy this first day right after playing the demo....right before i was about to preorder i found out there's no split screen so in other words i have to watch someone play and pass the controller...so i didnt buy but if i find if it for $20 i will..
I own a xbox 360 already ( along with a wii but not really the point here) and my girlfriend got me a ps3 for x-mas . Now my questions is do i really need a ps3 and a xbox 360? ill start off with saying that i do not play any single player games at all. i only play the online portion of any game because i like to have friends to play with , even if the game does have a single player part ill get bored of that within a day. Also the only reason i need a ps3 is because about 3 months ago i got a new 3d tv and i did not have a bluray player and i also needed something to play 3d blurays. But this also can be done by players i see at stores for around 150-200$ . From what i understand the xbox 360 is much better for gaming with large groups of friends compared to a ps3 so is there any real reason i need to keep this unopened ps3 that cost $386 or should i just return it for a cheaper 3d bluray player?williamfield
ok first of all you never ever sell a gift that your girlfriend bought for you..especially if it cost a lot...you will never hear the end of it and it actually sad and rude...she must really like you to spend that kind of money...if i bought a guy a ps3 and he sold it...he would be dumped in a quick second
second the bolded part is an opinion from people on sw....make up your own mind...you already have the ps3 so you should enjoy it.....you may like it and realize that people were completely wrong....
im not a 360 owner but if i was i wouldn't want kinect to cross over into the hardcore....forza, halo, gears should not be associated with kinect.,..the same things goes for the move with sony hardcore games... however the move has a advantage that kinect doesnt have...it can be integrated into the games such as RE 5, heavy rain socom, killzone..etc...but the main positive is i can easy trade in my experience with move for my dualshock 3 if i get tired of it....i see kinect being fun for games such as dance central or any game that makes you "move" but racing and fps or any other games that ddont make you move should stay with a controller we've seen the kb spoof on kinect and fps...do you really want to use your fingers and pretend you have a gun or as mentioned hold your hands up while racing? my guess is many people will try it because they already have a kinect and grab the controller after 5 min.....
old thread yet really nothings changed except the fact that kinect only has one thing to hype and thats sales and no one can play sales...yes kinect is selling fast but so is the move.... but if you really think your going to play halo or forza on kinect without problems your kidding yourself...
so...its basically how many consoles any company puts out into the market...which means that no one really knows how much any company actually sold. i believe but i might be wrong.......npd actually got a report on how many consoles were actually sold by the main US retailers...(walmart. target etc..) but not everyone but it did give you an idea on who is leading...
ill give you a female point a view u should take your daughter to best buy and let her check out both the kinect and move......if she wanted a move and you ended up buying a kinect she could get mad... i would.......i was once spoiled.....both the move and kinect are expensive so i really wouldnt buy one now...unless you found a good deal.... i really would wait when it comes to kinect,...
you are a better father buying Kinect for your 8 year old daughter than Move. Sony has no focus on Move and MS is fully supporting the revolutionary hit Kinect.

i wouldnt exactly say that..ms blew 500 million on advertising and thats about it so i wouldnt exactly call that more focus...so far it seems that move has a future when it comes to games while kinect is just selling because of the hype and holiday season ..no ones hyping the future games or even the games except maybe dance central it seems as if the biggest hype or big thing about the kinect is the sales...and no one can play sales
