Well thats nice it works for you but its just a mather of time the ROD will win the fight.im gona try to explain it to you

first im from sweden so you have to have understanding whit my writing skill : )

the ROD is a harware failure (the heatsink to the GPU is not in propper place/or to loose presure) thats why you think you have fixed it when you give the xbox a little tap . the heatsink stay in place and try to have the right amaount of presure whit the help of an XCLAMP its looking just like a big metall X on the bottom of the mainbord but its made of thin metall that you can easily bend and it stays that way .So that means it WILL loose presure over time more and more and the heatsink to the gpu

will become loose (not loose so its gona slide araound but loose enough to get the ROD ) .My advise leave it to MS so they fix it properly .
