I have been using a really old computer for a couple years now. PC gaming was out of the picture. I just got a new computer and I want to know what great games ive missed in the past 5 years.

[QUOTE="ParadiseAwaits"][QUOTE="mfp16"]I only know this because I had to return an xbox to wal-mart (my first one was dead out of the box). They actually have to call microsoft and read them the seriel number to be approved as a return.blackwolf2000
Yea exactly....
Wal-Mart has to verify the serial #s....
So how can could you possibly do a bait an switch? Unless some how you opened up both cases and switched the insides out and returned a broken xbox inside of the new case....which is absolutely ridiculous!! Who in their right mind would do such a thing?
Wouldn't that be tampering? Well, hell, I have already been accused of that. Might as well be guilty.
M$ already screwed you over. Switching consoles would just be getting even
Actually you don't need to go so far as to take it apart and swap the guts. You could just swap the sticker in the back...
[QUOTE="blackwolf2000"]They have you by the balls. If would love to "take a stand" but what the heck are you going to do against M$. That is like boycotting air and water. Where is Erin Brockovich when I need her?

There's a very simple solution to your situation and it includes same day success.
You know what you have to do. ;)
Hint: It includes Wal-Mart.....buying a 360...and a return. lol
But that would be dishonest...no one does THAT. (sarcasm)
[QUOTE="destinhpark"]Quick question, are you guys still sending your 360 to Mcallen Texas?hey, i got the RROD, and received my box today to ship,
however on the phone, i believe i recall the woman telling me to ship the power unit and cords with the console.
has anyone else been told to do the same? did anyone else ship their power unit with their console when they got RROD?
just making sure i remember correctly, i don't want to get jipped out of a power brick..
thanks.

Mine was labeled to go to Mesquite, Texas
My 360 is in repair for the exact same problem. First the screen goes all green then nothing but black, sometimes with little white dots. I hope your warranty is still good. Mine wasn't and it cost me $100.
Its strange that all the new generation consoles seem to be breaking. I remember my N64 and PS one always worked no matter what I did to them.
