As an indie dev, I'm afraid that it's past the point of no return for a crash that can be recovered from in a positive light, especially for indies

Yes, it would be amazing to see assholes like EA and Activision to die out and take their shitty practices with them, but a full on crash will effect everybody. It's like killing a bunch of fat people by starving out everyone, by the time they die, smaller devs and publishers would have perished long before.

Beloved indie developers like Way forward, Team Meat, ETC won't be around to rise from the ashes if they're at the bottom of the fire pit.

The best we can do is just selectively vote with our wallets, not burn the entire industry
