Naughty Dog's engine is perfectly fine. As someone who games primarily on PC I could see what a beast Uncharted 3 would have been with antialiasing, higher res textures and running at 1080p. Even on the outdated PS3 it was one of the best looking games of this gen. Their next game on PS4 will look amazing as it will allow them to enable directx 11

Cloud gaming will NEVER beat a high end Gaming PC. It is simply not possible right now. Maybe in 10 years when its lagfree and fibre optic becomes the standard but then again imagine the BEAST PCs that will be unleashed in 10 years. You will have the power of 10 GTX Titans in 1 singlegpu card. 32 core pcs running at 10ghz will be the norm.

All this cloud gaming marketing is just to assure consolites that gaming on a console can compete with PCS when it comes to visual fidelity but people who are not stupid can tell you right now Xbox One ain't got sh*t on a high end rig :)

I can see PS4 and Xbox1 being OMFGWTFNEXZZTGENCONSOZGRAFIKSSZZZ for consolites who are new to this architecture. But PC gamers with good rigs merely shrug at those frankly VERY average and laughable specs. Good thing is now our PC's power will be fully unleashed :)
