Queues were reasonable to gone by night on a server so packed they're currently blocking new players from joining it (6000 person queue at release), and yet they were gone by this afternoon.
The same thing will happen here that happened with Classic: people will play for a week, realize they already played the game to death years ago, and most will quit in a few weeks.
Exactly. As much as I loved it when it came out, its still the same thing just with worse graphics (as its 15 years older now). I wasted 5 years of my life on this game, dont need to waste more chasing the old high. It will never be the same. Times have changed, people don't talk, don't help each other, etc.
Another 7. Hmmm. Pretty much every new show this past two years has been a 7, or very very average. Halo, Wheel of time, LOTR, all the star wars shows, all the Marvel shows and most movies as well. Everything has been a 7 on average. If only we knew why. If only there was one thing that was an indicator of why they can only seem to make very average entertainment anymore. What could that be....hmmmmmmmm?
This is what 5 years of diversity hiring have gotten us. Everything is safe, unfunny, no risks, mediocre crap. You see it in gaming, tv and movies. Everything reviewed this year has been in the 5-7 range. Nothing outstanding. I'm talking about the west of course. Japanese don't do woke.
That's cool, because I avoid all "girl games" and the great thing is, I know I'm not missing out. I have zero interest in "sticking it to the patriarchy" or in gender and sexuality pandering. Virtually every game announced over the last year or two has a female lead. I will not give my money to people who hate me. They have abandoned those who got the industry where it is.
@hulk9177: Exactly. Not sure why the current woke crowd has to have absolutely every show/game/book etc. They already have all of Disney/Marvel/Star Wars. Can regular folks have anything anymore without it being all about gender and sexuality? Anyway, sounds like the show is actually an 8 or 9 for me.
