And that's why I play on PC. No generation gap of "forced to buy it again" or "hope the new system is retro compatible" BS.

@Akriel_Boulve: And nobody on the team thought "let's just pop one of these blue rays into a PS4 and play through the game to see if it actually works" before releasing it to millions of people?

As a PC gamer who doesn't really own consoles anymore (except switch), maybe someone can explain this to me please. Most games have some minor bugs that hopefully at some point get patched. Game breaking bugs may happen for a PC game since it is nearly impossible for developers to test every possible PC configuration imaginable. So because of this, a PC game could release where for some it will work perfectly and other PC's it will be unplayable and we have to look for the reason this bug exists. But for consoles, game breaking bugs making the game unplayable shouldn't even exist. How does something like this even get released? All consoles are the same everywhere. If a developer releases a game for PS4, then would someone on their team say "Hey, before releasing it, why don't we test it to make sure it actually works on PS4? Maybe even do a complete run through and make sure the game actually works!" Unlike PC's, it's not like there are 1000 different PS4 configurations. So I don't understand how a consoler release of this game (or any game) could be released as basically unplayable to the point that SONY has to pull it. Ironically the same game being released on PC (which is more difficult to standardize and test) being playable.
