Is there any way to play old games on ur PC. I want to play a game called shivers on my Windows XP. Shivers is from 1995 and It lets me get to a certain point into the installation and then says error and i hav to exit! Total bummer! Any suggestions?

Hey I love the older PC games like shiver, dracula reserection, and all the nancy drew mysteries. Anways I really want to get a new mystery/horror PC game. I am really looking for games that are scary but also a mystery. I do not want a kill zombies sorta thing. I want something that you have to find clues, catch ghosts, that sorta thing. Any suggestions? Thanks so much
