I could easily consume more than double the 16 chapters they have planned if the quality set by the first 9 chapters is maintained. Here's hoping that this expansion is a success and gives SWTOR a new lease on life.
The show was pretty expensive so I'm not surprised that it went pretty quickly once ratings dropped. Haven't caught up with season 3 so I wonder how wrapped up this were.
Couple this with Haven which is one its final episodes and I'm out of Syfy shows that I watch and I still haven't found a replacement for Eureka/Warehouse 13 yet.
@Smosh150: Just asked because I remember some confusion as to whether the Citizen figure was backers who put in money or simply people who registered at the website.
@billzihang: To be fair EA and other developers have helped foster this idea that development is very short because they pumped out games like CoD and FIFA every year. Obviously the comparisons aren't fair, but you can understand why your average gamer (who like most consumers don't really know much about the development of most products they use) feels that things are going very slowly with Star Citizen.
Not a bad little piece. It's no Tony Todd in Prelude to Axanar, but not bad. Would have preferred gameplay in SQ42 instead of the highly scripted and controlled stuff they have shown. Jury is still out on this game.
The sooner this comes out the better. The longer it takes the more of a smell it is going to get. Nor will the money keep coming and regardless of their financial situation now they will be in trouble when that happens.
Let's face it, due to who Roberts is the sharks have been circling since he announced this game. If he isn't careful he is going to be held in the same regard as a certain other developer who he has been having problems with over the last year.
Was pretty excited when I first heard about this, but that's only because I was way off on what I thought it would be. Seems like it's just a non-steampunk "Guns of Icarus".
@vackillers While you do need to spend $200+ to get a ship like the Constellation you aren't forced to do it. You make the choice to buy it. I think it's crazy to throe $400+ at the game or to even buy more than one ship at this point. However, people seem more than willing to do it and in the end how they spend their money doesn't impact me or is any of my business. But it doesn't stop me from sometimes shaking my head at how much people throw at this game.
As for the prices, I agree they are very high and I wouldn't go anywhere near the top end, but it is a necessity. They set certain prices during the kickstarter and now they have to maintain the pricing levels to try and keep a balance between players in the top end ships vs those in the low end.
