I'm 30 & grew up watching movies like Child's Play, The Shining, Scarface, Carlito's Way etc. from a very young age. I played video games like NARC, Doom, GTA etc. all from being a kid & grew up to watch & play the latest stuff today. My bro did exactly the same & we have both turned out great. I'm not saying I agreed & I would never expose my children to any of this until they are mature enough but things were more relaxed back in the day. It is all down to the Parents & they use video games as a scapegoat for their own guilt. Exposure CAN be contained as I successfully manage it with my child but I do understand that some things can be beyond your control.....that is when good parenting skills come into play. Rockstar did not load the gun, nor did they pull the trigger. Life is made up of choices.....
It's all one big ploy to push us down the digital route like sheep. The money they would save on production, warehousing, shipping, staff, energy bills etc. would be massive. Just stick the game digitally on PSN & 'right click, copy, paste' when stock gets low (so to speak!). Just like after the 60gb PS3, no PS3 console could then play PS2 discs & then what a shocker, PS2 titles begin to surface on PSN for about 700% more than you could pick the original up on eBay. At the end of the day they are a business and it's all about the Benjamins (and not the young lads called Benjamin who are p****d that they cannot sell their PS4 games on eBay).
