What he should do is just end the series and start a new IP. He even went on camera saying how he brought back all the characters in MGS4 to give it an ending everyone would be satisfied with. Then he decides to have prequels so everyones like "Ok lets see where he goes with these." Now we have this debacle.

Isnt that hypocritical? Kojima is known to despise the NES version of Metal Gear for being developed by another studio without his permission and not staying true to the story. But looking at Metal Gear Rising, I think its safe to assume it has NOTHING to do with the story or Raiden for that matter.

Im so heartbroken. I was really looking forward to the original MGS Rising. Kojima should have cancelled the game instead of handing it over to this average hack and slash / shoot em up studio. Yes Platinum Games is an average hack and slash studio. If it was Konamis decision, Kojima as the VP of Konami should have objected.
