starhawk is from the same team tht made warhawk. i guess u can call it a sequal. i think its based in outer space...i dont have much info on the game. i think much of it is speculation, and not fact. the name Starhawk was patented by Sony. The only reason it is ASSUMED (not confirmed) to be a Warhawk sequel is because of the similarity in name. Dylan Jobe (Warhawk Developer) left Incongito to go to Lightbox Studios. Lightbox studios has confirmed a big new game. They posted a hiring advertisement asking for experienced game developers in single player and multiplayer. This general looking add may or may not mean the new game has a sinlge player element to it. And this new game may or may not be Starhawk. Dylan Jobe has communicated with PS forum users via Twitter. He has updated us (the Warhawk community) about his new game. Here is the link:http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=warhawk&message.id=7990 38&query.id=81233#M799038 . Because he has continually adressed the Warhawk community even while working for a new company on a new game, it is reasonably thought the new game may be the Warhawk sequel. Otherwise why would he focus on the Warhawk community so much? 4. Dylan congratulated the PS forum on reaching 1 million posts and came into a thread and posted. Here is the link: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=warhawk&thread.id=10643 54&view=by_date_ascending&page=5 . He is asking the Warhawk comm for input on clan support, tournaments, community support, etc. Again, interesting that he directed it at the Warhawk community. But this still does not confirm a Warhawk sequel, just makes it look probable. Same goes for the name Starhawk. 5. All specualtion about 64 players, weapons, single player is all speculation. Nothing has been talked about of the games mechanics. It is thought to be in space because it is thought to be called Starhawk. 6. NandoBR, a respected player and forumer from BSK, made the following post about the next Warhawk installment: http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=warhawk&message.id=9428 37 . It is information from an inside game developer confirming a Warhawk sequel. Much of this is speculation. But please click the links and read and educate yourself if you are interested. It certainly seems there will be a sequel considering how well Warhawk sold. I'm probably missing a couple things, but Im tired.
