Not sure, it depends on how it fairs when it is released.

I'd get it 360 now, for the achievements sake (totally eclipses Trophies) but in awhile, I might change my mind, but disc swapping is just not an issue to me, I actually like it, if it means I'll have a faster loading DVD drive.

I can imagine the slow x2 loading of the Blu-ray drive in PS3 might be a factor here, requiring installations and the sort. But w/e, hopefully the trophy system/Blu-ray loading is better later.

Because it is a dirty technical mess, that is a damn shame.

In addition to that, the gameplay isn't all that great. In my opinion at least. Story is decent, but the technical bugs and lean back nature of the battles is just, meh.

Not the graphics only, they use the processor to determine the crowd behavior, and simulate the entire town all at once.

Wii is not guarenteed to be able to handle the processing just as much as the graphics.

No demo shows a lack in confidence to the game's success. Also if it's a game that is supposed to be unique, and revolutionary, they best have a demo to let the people try our the new features the game has to offer. Have a demo of something definitely makes me reconsider my postion with video games, and I don't really remember my response ever being negative (except with Hour to Victory, what a bad game)

I played the demo, and I think it was the most engaging and convincing demo I've ever played. I was excited about the game from the start, but I wanted to fully try it myself, and it's damned good.

I'm freakin' pumped about this game now, Tuesday here we come!

1 - if you're going to be buying one soon, get an elite.  Sure it's more expensive, but the HDMI port must be huge to have, and in that case, heating should never be an issue considering the new hardware the Elite has.

2 - 360's Wi-fi adapter is very very steep, although I have additional network ports on the back of my wireless router, so I connect it to that with an additional LAN cable.  It works out well, you shouldn't need it.

3 - I definately think it is, 50$ is reasonable for the amount you get out of the membership.  Online play is key with 360's current line-up, so I highly recommend you take it into consideration.  Also patches, updates, and downloadable content are nice to have.

4 - Battery packs for the controllers, you don't want to contend with AA batteries that come standard (well I wouldn't at least).

Also your Vista PC and 360 will be buddies through the same network :)... that is if you got Media Center included in your edition of Vista.  I love the feature myself.  You have PS3 already and apparently like it, so you'll definitely like 360.  You'll just expand your options.  Enjoy dude

I do not own a PS3 currently, although, despite the rough start going for the console, I feel it will recover eventually and get its moment to shine.

Although, until then, I think I'll wait on getting a PS3 as nothing is noteworthy at this point in time.  When the real gold games come out, possibly either an improved PS3 or a price cut will as well (to boost sales possibly?)... Then patience will hopefully pay off.

yeah, when the developers get the hang of it.  I'll buy a PS3 when they actually parallel their value with their cost, which they haven't done yet.  When they do, those dust covered units stored away in stores across the nation will finally sell.

And I'll be buying one of them, for cheaper cost, or possibly maybe an upgraded format I hope (won't keep my fingers crossed though, this is $ony).
