First, we need to distinguish a cult from a religion, and then make cults illegal. They're bad for everybody, except for their leader.

Like I said by cults I mean the ones lie to an individual to get away from home, then not letting them enough sleep so that they can't think properly, not giving them enough nutrition, not leaving them alone to think on their own, and by doingthat basically brainwashing them and turning them to soemthing they are not.

Freedom of religion is valued in a democratic state. This value makes it possible for cults to exist and flourish. Should anything be done to legislate against cult activity? Should it be "illegal" for friends and family to try to "kidnap" a recruit away from a cult?

PS - It means destructive cults and that brainwash people into their groups by not letting that have enough sleep, or not giving them any nutrition, or never leaving them alone to give them time to think about what they are really getting into.
