good decision to make it more realistic and deadlier. so this maybe makes you fear and respect the zombies. i hope this will get a good open-world-horror-game. the last game you can't really call a horror game.... i also love the depth they brought in. i hope you really can find intersting things and story-pieces in the houses you break in. i love it that you can break in houses that look only like part of the scenery anyway!!! exploring by yourself is the best (WHEN THERE ARE SOME MEANINGFUL SIDEQUESTS OR IF THERE'S INTERESTING THINGS TO FIND...)
i'm disapointed that you can't switch to the third-person-view. in thief 3 you could switch any time. i was looking forward to playing it. i'm not a fan of first person when it comes to action-adventure or stealth games. man, i'd really like to have a third-person-view :(
At first glance this looks like a mixture of dark souls and the elder scrolls.
If the gameplay really is influenced strongly by those two games like a complex open-world with much time to spend and not a too easy difficulty-level...then i really must buy the console this game is releasing on!!!
i just don't believe that they create a real real-time-combat like in skyrim with blocking and so on. from what i saw, it all looks more like a typical mmo.
if they did i'd be interested in it.
i'm waiting for the skyrim-addons and for elder-scrolls on the next console-generation ;)
i'm afraid combat won't be real-time-action-combat. i really love what they made of combat in skyrim and oblivion, great dynamic combat with enough action. blocking incoming blows with your shield or smashing on the enemy's shield, that won't be there.
it'll be a kind of world of warcraft-combat, just clicking icons :(
