@Tigers_Claws If the setting were to shift to a place outside of the U.S., the American-style humor of the Fallout games would be lost. So many things about Fallout are just American--the places, names, references and spoofs. Not saying a departure from the overall setting wouldn't work as a decent open-world game, but Bethesda can't make a game nearly as detailed as it could be if it set the game in say China or South Africa all while continuing to call it "Fallout" ('cause, you know, that wouldn't be Fallout).Now, if there were such as thing as a big Chinese dev with enough knowledge and resources to map out parts of its country, then I'm sure we'd all be able to play another decent, detailed, and worthy open-world role-playing game set after the apocalypse. Hmmm. I just realized how much I need a massive and detailed open-world game right now.

Certain teachers and professors at my high school are known to be Farmville and Mafia Wars addicts. Is it necessarily bad that gaming is extending itself into the social genre? No, IMO. If you wish to fall back on simpler games and you're a hardcore gamer, you now can.

The PC version looks DELICIOUS. The 360 version looks great, too.

The character models still look funny, tho. But I like the realistic shading and shiny effects that the weapons and objects have.
