that's how it goes for new hardware, but the criticism I see for the VITA are mostly funny and far from the truth. (3DS too)

na, you noticed the 3DS hate more because that's the handheld you own and the handheld you like. It's normal.

I bet most of the people in this thread saying that zero VITA games interest them so far have not even bothered looking at the lineup and only know that it has an uncharted game coming out.

I'll be getting both.

There's nothing 'wrong' with it.

I just prefer games that are made for the handheld with the mentality that it's being played on a handheld. Like I look at something like Uncharted and figure it'd be better on the PS3 with a big screen TV and surround sound than on a handheld.

It's fine that you think uncharted would be better suited for a console, but it's not like it's the only game on the list, there are tons of games that has been announced that look nothing like console games, and you're just choosing to ignore them.

it's definitely not dominating software sales, PSP is.

still, good number for the 3DS, and with the announced lineup...it's going to be huge by the end of this year.
