According to a FOXSports.com article, Tommy was quoted saying that he originally was misdiagnosed with the HIV test, and that in the process of training to comeback, he has had numerous tests and they have all been negative..
I heard on the radio that they may be concerned about the severity of Luke and Lavar's leg injuries..And seeing as how they were paying 49 million/year for 7 years, and his history of injuries, they probably thought better about they deal...These releases do leave them a little thin, but apparently they have a game plan in mind for making some changes, and I as a Giants fan hope its for the better..I am willing to give GM Reese the benefit of the doubt..
What would you try to change about the NBA??? Dress Code or not?? Allow players to have guns or not?? Bigger or smaller punishments for NBA fighting?? Just a few rules to discuss, I am curious to see what others think about the current state of the NBA..
The Mets offense will help carry them to the division title, however we all know that pitching wins championships, and that's where the Mets will falter..However with Minaya as their GM, i dont see them going into august and september without making a trade for an ace..A mistake for the Mets is to wait and count on Pedro to help solidify their staff..The Cardinals to not impress aside from Carpenter and Albert..When Braden Looper is challenging for a rotations spot, it makes me realize that staff is very weak..This may sound crazy but a healthy Milwaukee Brewers team can challenge and possibly take that division..The Cubs offense looks impressive, however their staff looks weak, considering Prior makes his annual visit to the DL, Kerry is now in the bullpen, they overpaid for Lilly, who is a flyball pitcher in Wrigley Field..Hill is young, and may have his ups and downs..The truly have an ace in Zambrano, and last I heard they are still back and forth with arbitration figures..
