@jeffryclause: Dude, he's been fantastic. He's the most "real" Bond that ever was. He's believable as a human being. Not just a pretty boy with gadgets, but a real person who devoted his life to something and grew throughout his series. If this is his final, I think you'll see that the 4 represent the spring, summer, fall, and winter of his life as an 007 agent. From a noob to a seasoned vet. Growth as an agent and as a man. No one has ever done that with Bond before.
Taken out of context, this sounds super shitty, but I guess by all the trolling, most of you guys didn't read the actual interview, which is linked in the article. Craig clearly has respect for the role and the character and the process, but it's all exhausting and he's nearly 50. He's not saying he'd rather die than do another Bond movie, but that he couldn't fathom doing another so soon. And he understands that his time is probably up, but if he did it again, he'd do it despite all that because, well, he makes millions of dollars doing it, so why not?
@noladem504 I never said i agreed with Ms Petit. But I listened to the review, and I only heard her mention misogyny once. That's hardly outrage. Perhaps she felt that some people, perhaps those new to the series, were unaware of it's presence in the series. Whether the warning or personal politics involved in why she chose to mention it are appropriate or not isn't what i'm speaking out about. I'm talking about these people who are bashing her about her gender identity and trashing her as a person and a human being. You want to say she's a bad review editor, fine. But leave her personal life out of it.
You people are animals. She mentioned misogyny once. She didn't harp on the subject and she's certainly not the only person who's complained about objectification of women in video games. Whether you agree or not is your own perogative but, it's sad that you have nothing better to do than bash a person over something so insignificant.
