David Archuleta Inspires me....Revinh

Do you know that he's a Mormon? And do you know what Mormons believe about Jesus and Native Americans? And do you know about a crazy dude named Joseph Smith Jr.?

I'll agree that it's disappointing, but not for the same reasons. While the graphics are a lot more in depth than the past GTA games, I feel it's almost empty when wanting to explore the town. For all of the buildings it has, there are barely any shops/restaraunts/bars etc.... to go into. Also, I don't see why they took out everything that flies except for a whole '3' helicopters. And with the impressive skyline in GTAIV, why not have parachutes or rocketpacks? Also, why show such an impressive visual with the amusement park and not be able to do crap with it? That would be so cool if you could ride the rides. But you can't. Also, what's with the planes at the airport never taking off or landing? They just do circles on the tarmac while an occasional plane in the sky will do a low fly-by to make it look like there's action. And if you decide to hop in a helicopter, the trains will cease to exist. Anyway, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I never liked the idea of Clans... Because when you start facing off against a clan, they all try to band together and mock the regular gamers... I do find satisfaction when I beat a clan, but I don't try to start beef with anyone...

AtlanticRock

Same here. I don't look for trouble, but they often start mocking other players in a pre-game lobby ( I play mostly COD4 multi-player) What's funny is that regardless of what rank you are, they always talk crap. You could be a low rank and they'll make fun of you for being in-experienced ( don't forget that every gamer has to start from that low rank and some are really really good from other games and rank doesn't mean jack) or you could be a high rank and they'll make fun of you for 'wasting your life' accumulating all of your kills. I learned a long time ago to turn the headset volume down and walk instead of talk.

Mine is a toss up between Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan. I was impressed after watching Saving Private Ryan because of the shock factor of the first 30 minutes of it. However, I think i'd pick Forrest Gump because I can watch it over and over again. What's your favorite Tom Hanks movie? If it's none on the ones on the poll, then tell us what it is.

thats one of the greatest songs ever? I think that song is far from great.

I agree. That's one of the few songs of theirs that I don't care for too much.

Sublime all the way, I love them

The rest are awesome too

mfrank0607

I'm surprised more people haven't picked them, especially considering that their music has carried over this far and you're almost guaranteed to hear them during a Mary Jane session these days.

I think it's because Nirvana is such a big name, I wish Brad wouldn't have died so we could listen to new songs today

This thread also lacks Tool

Yep. Tool is also great. That's another reason that I wish polls could be more than 5 choices.

None of them.

Misfits all the way.

AtomVamp308

I love the Misfits, but they're not known for being a 90's band. My favorite from them is "One Last Caress"

I said Misfits, not The Misfits, as in the resurrected 1995 line-up?

The song you were referring to is "Last Caress" by The Misfits.

Yeah I know, I caught myself after I read what I posted. My bad.

Doh!!! I should have put Radiohead in there. They are above and beyond almost everything.
