As far as I know, gta 5 will first come on consoles (now that sucks a big time), and later on PC. How much is later? I still don't know, but it won't be any figure less than 4 months!

FANS of Grand Theft Auto can land their dream job — as a professional video game tester.

Rockstar North in Edinburgh are recruiting gamers to try out the latest instalment of the 125million-selling hit.

Successful applicants will be paid a salary of around £14,000 for playing the crime-themed smash at the company's HQ in a bid to help bust bugs.

An ad posted on the firm's website says: "Rockstar North is looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our quality assurance team in Edinburgh.

"You'll be expected to play our games looking for problems and accurately report errors through our databases to ensure superior game quality before release."

The company has been developing Grand Theft Auto V for the last four years.

It's due out later this year. In its hoodlum-infested virtual world, gamers can steal motors, take part in car chases and wield a vast array of different weapons as they earn a reputation as a crime kingpin.

The action takes place in a fictional city called Los Santos in San Andreas and the surrounding countryside.

But while the job — for over-18s — might sound attractive, industry experts warned it could beTEDIOUS.

Tristan Donovan, author of Replay: The History of Video Games, explained: "The new GTA game is the major title of 2012, and for it to be anything other than a raging critical and commercial success would be a shock.

"Testing is a vital part of a game's development process.

"The image of the job is glamorous — you get to sit around and play games all day.

"But you're playing the same section of a game over and over again for months on end, hunting for bugs. It's quite a menial task."

till patch 3 you can easily mod your game but I think from patch 4-7 moding is disabled, however, you can use moding patch to mod it (patch 4- patch 7)!!!

I think from patch 5 or 6 you don't have to use rockstar games social club for launching the game.

All the patches have fixes to bugs and the best patch is patch 7, improved graphics but demands a lot on your GPU.

Just a few months after the Flight Simulator X release, Microsoft is already working on the next title of the series, entitled "Microsoft Flight Simulator XI"

"Due to the new graphic elements included with Windows Vista, we noticed that our previous title wasn't taking all advantages from the plataform as we planned. That's why we are entering in this project so soon, rebuilding the entire engine from scratch, based on the new programming concepts provided by DiretcX 10" says Bill Robings, project coordinator from Microsoft Game Studios.

It's good if it will release, well, I think FSX is enough for realistic flight simulation, fsXI will too require a monster PC, reason this game is not on consoles.
