I guarantee you this means you're going to fight "corrupt Spartans" in the single player. That snake/octupuss thing is going to "Kerriganize" a bunch of Spartans and unleash them on Earth, where MC and the Arbiter have to stop them.
He's less of a gaming critic and more of a TV personality. It might as well be Vanna White in his place.
