Is it the whole circle at once blinking or changing from top-left + bottom-right to top-right + bottom left quarters lighted?? The latter would be what I meant with the batteries being low. The first one is when the controller is connecting... but it's confusing, because you say, it works even when still 'connecting'... can't help you on that. My receiver doesn't have any problem with sleep though... maybe you'll reinstall the Windows Live drivers?!?! Greez

I assume this is the moment, your battery is getting low. Try new ones... For me, I got an accu pack incl. charger USB cable for about $20.

Hi everyone, I have a mid-class gaming rig with a gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard and I am using it's onboard LAN connector. For some months, everything was working perfectly. But yesterday I ran into a crazy problem. Here it comes: The onboard LAN stopped working. I read several forum entries which leaded me to clearing CMOS. Which I did. It then did it's job again. Fact is, that the onboard LAN would just work once, just after I cleared the CMOS. If I shut down and start my PC again, it wouldn't. The lights then will go on for 2 seconds and go off again, repeatedly. Also in Windows adaptor screen, the status will go Enabled -> Identifying... -> Network cable unplugged -> Enabled and so on. This is, of course, synchronized to the lights turning on and off. I just cleared the CMOS again and it works now and I assume it won't again if I restart my PC. I did the following for troubleshoot and none worked (some are advices I ran into while reading other forums): - unplug the cable before shutting down/restarting and replugging when Windows is back. - leaving the cable plugged while restarting. - disabling the adaptor during restart and reenabling afterwards - disabling and reenabling in BIOS - disabling in BIOS, booting the system, shut down system, reenable in BIOS, boot again Anyone got any suggestions what part could be the problem in this? My system: GA-P55A-UD3 Intel i5 750 @2.8 GHz Windows 7 Professional 64bit ... Thanks in advance, polj
