I purchased a second 360 to play GTA while my RROD'd 360 was being fixed. But I didn't actually like GTA that much so I went to remove the hard drive so I could take back the system. After removing the hard drive I turned it on just to see what happens. Nothing. I think "hmm, that's strange, I thought you could play 360 without a hard drive." I put the hard drive back in. Nothing. My two week old Falcon chip system is dead. Not RROD, just won't start. So I guess that's five dead 360s now, and not even the fastest death either. Had one DOA when I started it up. As soon as I get my other 360 back I'm selling it. Took 3 weeks just to get the coffin. MS is ridiculous.
Halo 3 was overhyped because it wasn't very good. Though I agree a lot will be disappointed due to expecting perfection, I think GTA will live up to the hype for reasonable people.
My dad was a game developer for EA (FIFA), so no, but he really hates the GTA series for its violence (note: not sex). He never prevented me or my young teenage brother from playing it. My mom has the "boys will be boys" mindset.
I'm gonna go with no. I used to work in a casino and carried over $10,000 in chips daily (over $500,000 a few times) by myself and not once ran away with it. Though the thought did occur to me. Got some stupid thing called a conscience (plus there was no where to hide once you exited the building *cough*).
