i for one would not mind giving a small amount extra say $5 or less if it goes directly to the makers not the publisher.

while its correct i buy a game or car or movie i can do with it what ever i want, hell i can put them all in a barrel and burn them:)

what i say is that primary game sales are clearly lower (the ones they make money on) because alot of people buy games second hand cause its cheaper.

Plz no bashing i have several second hand games, and mostly buy when they are at 39.99 or lower sometime after launch.

my humble opinion is that console games should be 49.99 at launch, fair price. second hand games $5 or less to activate. this means you get games at launch cheaper and the companies make that difference or more later on. and you can still sell or give your games.

In the end i blelieve the people who make a game i like should be the ones to profit the most, i want those guys to make good money so they can make more and better, and not shut down like some companies did or get eaten be big companies cause profits are lower.

well if a game costs 59, you get it second hand 29 for example. the guys that work to make the game make 0 dollars on second hand sales.

a $5 dollar fee direct to the people who made the game is fare. second hand games only makes retailers richer not who made it.

i beleive people who made it deserve more the money then gamestop or atleast share the profit is fare
