Honestly I hit chapter 5 got bored and stopped playing it, heard that the end of the game was shit from many many sources and determined to wait till Square actually finished the game to go back, but now I dont know if I ever will. Square has severely dimished themselves in my eyes with FFXV. Admittedly I did not care for XIII either but expected more than sloppy combat and a very patchwork story from XV.
This is a straw man argument. The Vita has a great deal of games that are very good that aren't either indie or AAA. Ragnarok Odyssey, Soul Sacrifice, Muramasa Rebirth, Shinobido 2, etc. Then if you include the 'indie' titles you have more games than you could possibly play.
Remote play is awesome, *when* it works. Too often the Vita controls are locked down and terrible. Reading text can also become an issue on some games as it is quite small.
The real problem with the Vita is the lack of decent marketing. Sony needs to do as they did in the UK and bundle it with the PS4.
Off topic: Lack of vibration support is, frankly, ridiculous. Battery life should not be an issue any longer, the Vita is plenty large enough to hold a decent size pack that can power the Vita and then some. The cheap battery and the proprietary storage are an indictment of Sony's greed actively crippling their own product.
