Hi guys! I am looking for a pc game here. Prob from around 1990 to 2000. It was a 2D shooter.

I very vaguely remember that you were some kind of soldier armed with a weapon and the screen followed your character from left to right. Not sure, but I think Robots appeared from portal like things or doors and attacked you and the game went on like that. I feel like you sometimes could go in some of those portals to either save or heal. You had to kill everything and continue to the right. I was a small child, so bear with me for not remembering more.

Thanks to Black_Knight_00 i found one of the two games i was looking for, but i still havent found the other one.

It was a PC game. I am sure that i bought the game together with Battle Realms and Battle Realms was released in 2001. As far as i can remember the game had some sort of light blue packaging.

So the parts i can remember are:

It was an RPG

You looked at your characters from above like in Diablo 2

The game looked really similar to Diablo 2, so i think that it was 2D

The game started on a teleporter or circle like thing in a forest or grassy area

Yours characters were standing on this circle on the ground

You had more than 2 characters, two of them being a warrior and an archer as far as i know

I also partly remember talking to some people inside a tree house, tree or wooden house in the first area

Shortly after the first level you entered a dungeon similar to a tunnel or cave

Im not sure whether or not the game was turn-based

Man i am slowly thinking that the PS1 or N64 game that i was searching for is indeed Killer Instinct Gold! I watched some videos and i remembered some of the stages and others characters. This is also the game with which my memories match the best. The biggest factors which made me remember were the menu and character screen soundtracks, before that i only watched some gameplays. Thank you so much!

and another character with a huge sword, brown light skin and no shirt

i think i played the game first when i was 6 or 7 years old so in 2000-2003

Found the first game by looking at every single rpg released in 2001 for pc.

The game is called Pool of Radiance ruins of myth drannor.
