The flipping flood is one of the only things that makes me hate playing through the campaigns in the Halo series. I hate the flood.

It just happened to mine about two weeks ago. I'm passed the one year warranty so I have to pay $100 to get it fixed so it's still sitting in my room waiting to be shipped for repairs. There's no remedies that I have been able to find.

I actually just bought Halo 3. I ordered it online and the day before I got it in the mail my 360 died lol. And it was Mass Effect before that.

Doom for me. I didn't even have a computer at the time, so I went to my friends house all the time and we played the crap out of it.

I don't know, haven't played it yet. I finally broke down and ordered it through my work and the day before it arrived in the mail, my 360 died. Second one too. It's annoying.

But, I've never been much of a Halo fan so I'll go ahead and sign anyway.

I have the play and charge kit as well as rechargeable AA batteries. Both work well but I still prefer corded controllers.

[QUOTE="opiatedbliss"]My second 360 just died on me last week. I didn't get the RRoD though. I just don't get any video but the sound works and this problem is only covered by the one year warranty so I have to pay to get it fixed. Kinda sucks, but oh well. Third times a charm right? Well, here's to hoping!Speedy454545

Well then I am sorry to say, but problems like that are usually from the users mistreating the console. You must take good care of your consoles, especially the 360. Give it lots of room to breathe and make sure it stays cool.

The RRoD is the only 360 error nobody can control, but any other problems or errors and usually from the owner mistreating their console.

That's total BS because my 360 sits on a 2 drawer file cabnet with nothing around it for at least 3 feet. I have never mistreated my 360 lol.

Well, did you make sure the cables are set to HDTV? There's a switch on the connector right where it plugs in to the 360. If that doesn't work then I don't know. Unless the TV is maybe an EDTV instead of an HDTV or something. Maybe call Microsofts tech support at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX.
