@PaulJanson ^This. Right here. This is a thoughtfully, respectfully presented disagreement that adds meaningful discussion. It's really that simple. Thank you for this.
Developers should just wait to release the DLC. The problem seems to be in the timing. Some dislike DLC no matter what, but the vast majority would probably be OK with it as long as it wasn't day one. So why not just wait? Of course, logically speaking, the timing of the release changes absolutely nothing. Just delay the game and include the new content you say? By that logic, some games would never be released! If you don't like DLC and you really think that time has any relevance to the situation, don't buy it. Oh, and stop bitching so much about it.
@Benficafan_101 So I can't just like the ending? I have to be a moron and care about what the Gamespot staff thinks of me to do so? That's a pretty sweeping generalization. I mean, I do care a whole lot about what the Gamespot staff thinks, because they might...uhhh...give me a high five...or something. Really?
@NBAmaster33 It's probably true that most people just would like to voice their opinions respectfully, but then there was the whole petition and fundraiser bit to try to change the ending. I'd say that's pretty close to trying to force Bioware's hand. My concert example applies to those people, I think. Speaking of voicing opinions, I really don't think it's a big deal that we only got 3 endings rather than a promised 16. I wonder if it wasn't their choice? The game was delayed once, perhaps they needed another delay to polish the endings but were denied, maybe by shareholders? I won't pretend to know how all this stuff works, I just can't help but wonder.
