I'd never have thought that my computer would be able to run Rome 2. But seeing as they're saying that it's similar to Shogun 2 specs, and my computer runs Shogun just fine, maybe it would.

My PC has an

-AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor

-4GB DDR3 Memory

-ATI Radeon HD 5570 Graphics card with 1024MB

As I know nothing about computers, could someone tell me if this cuts the mustard? Thanks!

Personally, I don't give a damn about Netflix or anything else on my console - all that's important is whether it allows for a better gaming experience (graphics, memory, processing power).

I agree that GTA V should take a more serious tone - Saints Row serves as the open world mayhem game if that's what you want.

That said, GTA IV was far from perfect - they needed more RPG options (going to the gym, tattoos, haircuts, way more clothes stores), and the decisions weren't that good either - the whole thing with Kate kinda felt like it was tacked on at the end. And that was really the only decision that mattered - all the other ones, like killing someone or not killing someone, just changed minor details, if anything. I'd say GTA V definitely needs to improve on that.

Finally, though Liberty City was very well done in IV, I feel like it didn't quite feel alive, mainly because there were so few things you could interact with. There were only about 3 clothes stores, one club, a few restaurants, a few bars, two strip clubs, and that's it. I know it would be a massive undertaking, but a developer with such a reputation for quality such as R* should really try to put more side content like that in.

Oh and for fucks sake could they sort out car ghosting.

@moc5 Yeah but, in all the TW games I played I was never able to diplomatically achieve anything except for trade rights and alliance, both of which would be randomly revoked by them declaring war on me randomly two turns later. Every time I suggested vassalage it was firmly rejected, same with options like giving me money not to attack (even if they were really weak compared to me) or giving up provinces. I think they should really focus on AI, diplomacy and maybe introducing a more relevant reputation system.

@Pyerun I dunno, I felt Shogun 2 was pretty boring and repetitive. I guess I'm not in it as much for the battles, but I hated how simple the management was. There were only a few units to build, and every faction was like identical. Plus that one building per province thing really steamed my vegetables.

Shogun TW2, while being visually stunning, was a disappointment. Virtually no difference between factions, and I hated the way each of my provinces could only specialise in one thing. I used to love building my cities in Medieval 2 and Rome into huge commercial and cultural centres - and how the factions in these games felt so different, with completely different units and buildings.

This game looks amazing however. Expanding the map, bringing back different cultures, beautiful, detailed graphics....what more could you ask for? Well, it'd be nice if they shipped it with a new video card for my computer, 'cause I'm gonna need one. Oh how I miss the days when Age of Empires graphics used to be impressive...
