Running the game on a Dell Dimension 4700 (from 2005) with Pentium 4 3.2 GHz and 1 GB DDR2 RAM at 400 MHz on WinXP Home Edition. Initial game load up is slow but actually loading up a save or continuing with a game is quite quick. Graphics-wise, I have that Radeon X300 SE you see at the bottom of the Video cards list here. The game defaults it to 1024x768 with lots of the low and medium settings selected. I found that this plays a little on the jerky side so I moved almost all settings to low (which ends up making the game looking like the original Command & Conquer) to get away from frame skipping. Slow downs still happen if there are a lot of units and action happening on the screen though. For kicks, I maxed out everything including the resolution (1280x1024) and wow, it's like ... negative frame rate. But man, the details are were incredible though. C&C3 is my wake up call to upgrade my video card. Hell, even Lego Star Wars II can't run smoothly above 640x480 with most details OFF. >_> I should get one before the open beta of Granado Espada starts ...
