I totally agree. TP is the first true spiritual sequel to Ocarina of Time, and it delivers, as such, in spades. If you're a OoT fan, finding all the little details and layout coincidences will feel really cool. Both games are seamless and coherent as a whole.

And yeah, it's the best story in a Zelda game. Still basic good vs. evil, but the characters are well developed and interesting. Even Link seems to be less detached than his previous incarnations. He's sad when bad things happen to his friends, scared before boss fights and even kinda angry at some points... which is GREAT after dozens of autistic Links. Believe me, whenever you see Link get pissed off and go after a baddie you'll want to cheer. You haven't seen a guy in a green fairy suit be such a badass before. Ever.
