lol in doom 3

early on, when you have a rubbish pistol and a flashlight that you keep having to switch between. that was quite jump out of your seat scary =]

you turn round and see a zombie but you cant shoot so you quickly change to pistol and its gone because you couldn't see it

i voted doom beacuse i havnt played most of the others...

My point about jumping: It saves a ton of time while solo-ing. Say Im up on a ledge, in GW I would have to walk all the way down the way I came and then around the outcrop, but in WoW I can just jump off saving time.

The problem with GW's "tactics" is that you cannot move around during a fight. It's all about what armor, weapons and spells you use. In WoW, tactics are much more noticable. Hunters can lay traps for the unsuspecting warrior or other melee class to wander into if the hunter moves back. A shaman can cast many different types of totems, some that do a ton of damage unless destroyed. Now how would you encorporate tht into the GW's combat system?

Having a lot of spells to choose from does not decrease tactical awareness, it strengthens it. It makes the game much more deep and interesting. In GW, a warrior can fight a warrior and they both use exactly the same spells so there is little in the way of tactics. But when 2 classes face in WoW, the large amount of spells really does prove who is the better player because you have to be smart and know how to use every one. In WoW, warrior have different stances tht incrase damage given, decrease damage taken and add to your crit. Each one has it's own spells. How is this not tactical or deep?

And about the level cap, I'd prefer taking a long time getting to 70 than a short time to 20.

I admit that being able to jump is a lot better than not being able to jump but...

You say that hunters lay traps, in GW rangers can also lay traps and lure people into them.

In GW ritualists can summon spirits that have all sorts of effects, from doing damage, causing conditions, healing, and even ressurecting. These change the tides of battles. Rangers can summon nature spirits, which can also turn the tide of battles. Changing all damage done by everyone to fire or cold, stopping ressurection all together, changing the nature of other peoples (friend and foes)skills. With these, the tactics that a team uses are extremely important.

You say that warriors use exactly the same skill set. That almost NEVER happens. The amount of warrior builds there are, using axes, swords and hammers. And the different atrributes, using either strength or tactics or both. AND the warriors second profession. Some warriors are meant to kill, while others keep on the pressure so that others can deliver the final blow.In GW warriors also have tons of stances that can be used for more damage, to attack faster etc.

GW, especially at higher end PvP is extremely reliant upon tactics. More so than WoW.

Personally,I prefer the WoW PvE. But GW just wipes the floor with WoW in PvP. I like them both as games, but GW is better in my opinion, just because there a no fees.

I hear rumors that Halo 3 is coming out for the Ps3Sophieishot

Hell no. M$ would never EVER let one of their biggest games go to Sony. Ever

and if they do... *pulls out gun*

but anyway, is there anything about Halo 3 coming out on PC, i know it will be ages, but does anyone know if anything has been said?
