When triple A shooters like overwatch, titanfall, halo, and rainbow six siege roll out free dlc maps, it makes me wonder when the call of duty and battlefield franchises will do the same. hardcore players will always pay for overpriced dlc, but the casual (and much larger) player base is starting to smarten up and it's starting to show in the declining numbers in both of those titles. on the flip side overwatch continues to dominate in player numbers and rainbow six has actually doubled it's user base since it's launch year thanks to it's constant free content support into it's second year. i used to play call of duty AND battlefield regularly (yes it's possible to be a fan of BOTH) but the call of duty's micro transaction slot machine tactics and battlefield's lack of overall depth and content has made me move on to other shooters.

@zcicecold: the fact that he managed to get 50 million people to subscribe to him, essentially making him incredibly rich from just playing video games is sort of a skill in itself. love him or hate him for what he does, he's incredibly successful at it.

@jagdedge124: If there ever was a video game that accurately represented what war was, who in their right mind would want to play it? I feel sorry for anyone that does. At the end of the day this is an industry about entertainment.

@Ragnawind: have you even seen what the popular locations look like? hundreds of kids walking around, trust me, more than a few walk over other peoples property just because there's no where else to sit.

@Erebus: there's a huge difference between having a disney land across the street where it would most likely be fenced off and having hundreds of kids walking over your garden every day.

@mgs4gop: it's their shady way of boosting hits on other videos even when people don't click on them. all it takes is for the new video to load and that new video gets a hit even though it doesn't interest you at all. i guess it's clever even though it gives them a false stats on how popular certain videos actually are.
