Hi everybody,

I am desperately looking for a videogame I used to play on my PC when I was a kid. It must have been at the end of the 90s or the beginning of the 2000s and I think the game is not much older than that

It was a top-down tile-based puzzle game like Chip's challenge and had several elements in common with this game - the coloured keys and locks, the slides (green in the Chip's challenge pic below), the point of view.

Also similar to Crusher, but definitely more modern:

- The main character was, well, a white tile with a face

- The bad guys were also tiles - green, blue, red etc. based on what "type" they were. I also remember a special bad guy, which I think was called lava worm or blood worm (but I might have imagined this), made up of 5 bright red circles and running around like a train!

- The background/wall tiles were mostly black and dark blue, if I remember well

- You could fight the bad guys with ammos and with dynamite

- To complete a level you had to kill all enemies, and you had a small map bottom right where you could check if anything was still moving

That's about all I remember...fingers crossed! Thank you!!

Hi all!

From time to time I make an attempt at finding an old game that I used to play back around the end of the 90s...hope somebody can help!

* Background: the gameplay was quite similar to Chip's challenge but more combat-focused. You played a white square-like character who could shoot blue, red, green square-like enemies and had to find colour-coded keys in order to complete levels. The only different enemy was the blood worm (or lava worm or magma worm?) - which was a fast running worm composed of 4-5 red circles - and you could use dynamite as a weapon. All the enemies needed to be gone before you could access a new level and you had a mini map on bottom right of the screen to help you find the remaining ones.

* System:Windows 95?

* Year: late 90s

* Perspective: 2D

* Environment: again, similar to Chip's challenge but with dark coloured maze-like levels; some level with lava pools maybe?

* Genre: I'd say adventure/puzzle

* Gameplay: arrow keys; space bar?

Thanks - if you can help with this you'll definitely make my YEAR!!

Hi everybody,

I am reposting this in hope of finding someone who can help! :)

Here's what I remember:

- I used to play it in late 90s/2000 but it might have been out for a while

- top view, a bit like pacman

- labyrinth levels, all made of tiles

- the protagonist was a white square and all the enemies were squares of different colours for different kinds (I seem to remember ninjas?), except for one which was composed of 4 red circles of decreasing size (blood worm? lava worm?)

- you often had to collect coloured keys to open locked passages

- you had to kill all enemies before being able to exit the level

- dynamite was one of the special weapons

Thanks!!
