@br0kenrabbit: LOL I don’t have to attack you CPU example. Earlier you said historical evidence proved the “logic of the Bible.” And that the “ethics” in the Bible is used as the basis for science. Your words, first page.

Logic of the Bible...

Do you mean the values and belief system it has created? You do understand that “ethics” is not part of the scientific method.

But then again it’s hard to tell what you’re actually on about half the time.

@br0kenrabbit: The point I’m making is that there was a lot of psudo intellectual comparisons being drawn in large paragraphs. No one should be expected to untangle a rats nest of information when you compare “CPU gates” to neurons but distinguish the comparison between transtors and soma. What the actual ****? Do you just enjoy hearing yourself talk? You don’t like being ambiguous but at the same time you’re too lazy to be specific and concise. Your case was far from “succinct.” It sounds like you are trying to convince yourself more than anyone here.

It’s like I said in my original post. The human mind desperately attempting to justify it’s relevance in grand scheme of existence.

@br0kenrabbit: Literally no one calls them CPU gates. You couldn’t have just said “logic gates that form a CPU.” Or at least something that would have made your case more credible. I think you’re trying way too hard to make this comparison work.

@br0kenrabbit: They’re called transistors. They make up logic gates. They are used for more than just CPUs. It helps to learn something about the subject matter you are defending.

@nestlequick: I really did not pander. Before the creation of the world, we were probably brothers.

You literally have no proof of this. It's your need to believe rather than accepting a more probable reality. We fight to survive because we are mamals. There is no righteousness or universal "brotherhood." It's just something we came up with to help our species survive for as long as possible. I didn't understand the rest of which you wrote even after reading it twice. Apparently your trying to correlate the generalized suffering of all human history with my forum post... somehow. Or something like that. Or not. In either case, you arn't taking the time to articulate your point which suggest you feel threatened. Welcome to the universe, where all we have is each-other and you'll actually have to try to work with mortal people who you may not see eye to eye with instead of hiding behind God. Imagine that.

There is no "intellectual" conversation here. When people start comparing neurons to "CPU gates" and people start having serious arguments with them, it is clear they are truly living in their own fantasy.

@jackamomo: How do you know your jesus said anything let alone exist??

Random internet sites to confirm bias. Although that being said, Jesus was probably real and historians acknowledge it.

@nestlequick: You are a sad human being, but I still love you. Ado!

No you don't. You don't even know me. You're just trying to make yourself sound virtues.

Man you guys are really trying hard to justify the validity of supernatural existence when it comes to religion or draw equivalences to faith and proven science. I mean you guys are REALLY putting effort into it. I bet if I was to start a thread that talked about the existence of ghost or haunted castles you guys wouldn't be trying so god damn hard to justify any kind of rational validity to it. Could you imagine me starting a thread about ghost or UFOs and being like hnnnnnnnnnng muh philosophy and metaphysics. hnnnnnnnnng Existentialism! It all makes sense if you smoke 20 joints and really throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks. You would all be like "these are just urban myths, shut up dude."

I suppose "higher power" is granted an exception. Like I said before in my original post, humans are DESPERATELY trying to confine everything into a reality which makes sense to them. Hence higher power.

Wow, lots of 16 year olds here. Faith is a good tool for certain things but it should not be the foundation of our moral outlook. It should also not or be an entire guide for how we should live life. There are plenty of things you could do that are proven to be healthy. Live by that.
