It is so cool to hate EA on the internetz. Even though companies like Activision/Blizzard are far worse in their practices.

While EA donated a large sums of money to several charities, and people still hate on them for donating?

Also I think it was a good move for EA to announce publicly how they donated, because now it puts pressure on the other big Pubs to 1up EA.

EA is far from perfect and does some shady things for profits. But I can say they did do good here. I hope other Pubs contribute to charity the same.

@adrianjarca It is a good thing that they told the press. Because it puts pressure on other Pubs to do the same.

@Vidpci You must have called at an off hour time. I have called EA phone support 2 times (US) and both times were handled with an US rep.

@baxwam TG-16 came out during the 8 bit gen. You know Sega Master System and the Nintendo Entertainment System.

@baxwam The Turbo Graphix 16 was the most advanced hardware at the time and Vita was the most advanced handheld when it released. Wii U is basically "last gen" console quality in the "next gen" So I don't see your correlation.

Anyone who calls people a crazy "tin foil hatter" are just following the flow of truths. Just like when it was said about the US government spying. Remember:

"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it’s violently opposed. Third it is accepted as being self-evident."---- Arthur Schopenhauer.

@SambaLele Do not forget that Jeff was fired. But 4-5 others left so they could stay honest and not be told what they could or could not say/rate a game.

@Verenti What even got me was last weeks episode on how gamification is a good thing? I have seen there is a book published by a professor in GA Tech who states that how gamification is just a psychology trick used to exploit a customer base.

Hell even Skyrim is owned by some of the CBS people that own Gamespot (Leslie Moonves). I find it hard that would not influence what Gamespot does with Zenimax IPs, hence Top Skyrim Mods on Gamespot.

@Sgthombre Well if Gamespot uses footage, images of the game and talks bad about it. The game pubs can and do sue.
