The only decent tv show about games is good game in Australia. Hosted for gamers by gamers on a non-comercial network. They can get a little snobbish when it comes to things like low brow comedy in games but they are mostly alright. Other than that whenever I hear the words video games on tv I normally have to cringe after.
Well put John, glad you acknowledged that there are still responsible people out there. Seriously 9 is a great score anyway you look at it. And it wouldn't have been hard to for Rockstar to include proper roles for women if they wanted to. Since they didn't (which is fine, don't get me wrong I love SR4 too) it means that people are allowed to pull them up on this. Seriously 9 is a great score and people should be more concerned with the actual review than bitch about the number it received. It's sad that people don't understand that just because someone found a fault with something means that it is ruined and the person should who said it should die in a whole. I love the irony of the Americans complaining about facists in Australia. You know when they live in America. I'm just going to import it like I was going to anyway.
Since when is an 8/10 a bad score? Some of my favourite games have gotten reviews of 7 or even 5. How about you listen to the review, appreciate what it actually says about the game, then make your judgement. A game isn't held up as a classic based on a number. I mean when was the last time Pokemon got above a 7.5? Doesn't mean it's not a fun game, just means you have to understand it's not perfect and not everybody see things the way you do.
